Builders liability insurance customers are being urged to attend a free construction safety awareness event in Scotland next week.
Organised by the Working Well Together campaign, the conference will cover a range of hot topics which will include working at height, electricity, noise and vibration and mechanical handling.
The campaign group will also encourage new members to sign up while providing a network of groups where members can support and advise each other on health and safety matter.
It will be held on November 3rd at T3UK at the Janetstown Industrial Estate, Thurso.
Health and Safety construction inspector for the North Highlands Peter Black said that the toll of injury in the Scottish construction industry is a real matter for concern for builders liability insurance customers.
"Events like this are designed to provide workers and company owners with the skills and knowledge they need to protect themselves. I hope people will take this opportunity to attend a locally-delivered event," he added.
