Liability Insurance policies generally offer cover for both public liability insurance and employers liability insurance under one policy.

Some policies will provide cover for product liability insurance, which is required by companies who manufacture, retail or wholesale products that could cause injury to a member of the public or damage their property. For example should your kettle explode and injure you and set your kitchen alight you would make a products liability claim against the manufacturer. This cover is not normally offered under a liability policy for tradesmen.
